Faithful Proclaimers

Hey, it’s always been that way. Some people just dislike what the church teaches because it goes against what they want to hear.

Way back in Old Testament days, the prophet Micah wrote, “If a liar and deceiver comes and says, ‘I will prophesy for you plenty of wine and beer,’ well he would be just the prophet for these people.” Why? Because apparently such a preacher would say what most of the people back then wanted to hear.

I say, praise the Lord for ministers who speak God’s words regardless of whether or not they’re liked. I affirm all pastors who prayerfully do their best to represent the Lord by proclaiming His truth, even when His thoughts are not what most of the people may want to hear.

I am grateful that I continue to hear how positively readers are responding to my latest book entitled The Sermon Sucking Black Hole—Why You Can’t Remember on Monday What Your Minister Preached on Sunday. This book is available at Amazon.com by clicking here.

In this book, I offer some solid tips to the people sitting in the congregation to help them remember what their pastor has said from the pulpit.
