Momentum. Once you have it, it makes everything a whole lot easier. Momentum, it’s the impetus of something moving, gaining speed, all of which makes it that much harder to stop. Momentum—you see it a lot in sports.
I’m not an athlete, but a churchman. But, hey, churches work better when the members are excited about what’s happening. When the congregation is working together and accomplishing more than would be normally expected.
When you have momentum as a congregation, respect it. Don’t you be the one to fowl things up by a dumb mistake of one kind or another. Don’t let the enemy turn things around because of you. Don’t give away something most wonderful. Resaid, don’t lose your momentum.
